If my E23 ever gets totaled, I'm going to buy a L6 with a manual (does that exist?) and drop my M106 into it.

I'm undecided on the wheels. but god damn do I love almost any E24. It's impossible for me to pick a favourite BMW, but the E24 is close......also - holy tits you have an M106? I am all of the jealous. 745i?

Might be my favourite wheel on them, but I also prefer darker colours

Yeah I picked up a 745i about a month or so ago. I am hoping I can pick up a set of M parallel replicas for it soon, car isn't worth the 1500-2000 for a good OEM set but I can get a brand new set of replicas, staggered, for 600 dollars!

Ohh duh that's you, I read that post. Cool! I'd be looking at some nice wheels for my E30 but the entire brake system decided to shit the bed so now I have to make it work again before I can improve anything :p I love E23s though, a friend and I almost picked up one that was a manual, but we couldn't get the money :/

I hope to find a e23 with a manual I can use as a parts car to manual swap mine sometime this year. non running 728i's or 733i's usually sell for under a grand so I should be able to make my money back parting it out + scrap. Thats the plan at least, lets see what pans out.
